My hubby is a meter reader in bemidji Minnesota and has developed osteoarthritis in his knee from the unstable grounds (lakes and forest) he walks on about 12 miles a day. We have yet to find a doctor who does anything similar to you and I really enjoyed this video as my hubby can so relate!

Through her videos Dr Mondragon teaches knee pain is most often related to other problem areas of the leg like thighs, IT bans, & shins.

I've also screwed both my knees when I was a teenager. Whenever it gets really cold (like today), my knees are super sore. Quick pressure changes, and one of them swells up. Getting a chirp wheel for my back, and a Hypervolt for to loosen muscles in my back and knees has been a wonder.

I've played basketball from 7th grade through college and have had knee problems since my sophomore year of high school. It wasn't anything major, just what I get for being a girl over 6 foot. Well I somehow messed both my knees up my last two years(2018-2020). It started in my right knee, moved to the left and now it's just both at this point(but my right is worst). Both my knees had gotten swollen, putting any type of pressure on them caused pain(running, walking, weight lifting, stairs, etc.). I did physical therapy at school. It helped for about 2 months but then he pain just came back, so in true athlete form, I just dealt with the pain. Fast forward to the summer after I graduated(2020), I finally went and got CT scans, x-rays and mri's, but they all came back showing nothing wrong with my knees. So now I just deal with whatever pain comes my way(which is constant). Sitting crossed legged or with one knee bent is a no-go, any type of squatting is a pain, and don't even get me started with the weather. I honestly think I have arthritis but that's just my online self-diagnosis, so maybe I'll go back and get rechecked in a few years to see if anything changes.

I dislocated my patella last April and it was the worst pain I’ve ever felt. I’ve done physical therapy, I’m exercising, but it’s so frustrating because I’m only 26 and I can’t dance, walk long distances or run, even standing for a longer time hurts. I miss dancing so much. The doctor said I shouldn’t have surgery now. I’m just extremely frustrated and sad with all of this.
@finng32832 жыл бұрын
No expert, but id suggest getting a second drs opinion, from my limited knowledge surgery is generally far less effective later on

I’ve been having knee and thigh pain from squats and now deadlifts and it’s shut down my leg workouts for like a month. I don’t have the guts to really work it out with a foam roller the thigh is so tender. This looks like some great treatment as far as I can tell

I severely messed up my right knee when I was 8 years old. I crashed my bike on a gravel road. The scar covered my entire kneecap. My parents were retirees, and couldn't exactly take me the hospital to have a complete look over. I'm 44 now, and every once in a while my knee still give me trouble. This past week I hurt the inside of my right knee while at work. Probably from hyperextending it lifting kitty litter containers off a riser while standing on my ladder cart. For a while it hurt to put my shoes on, or even lift my leg up to get into my truck. The pain has gone away with rest, and icing it down. But it still hurts whenever I'm on my side and my knees tend to touch.

@@1spun716 My Mom was 41 and in the early stages of polycycstic kidney disease when I was born. My Dad was 44 and had just had two herniated discs removed from his back. Plus, he almost lost his life due to alcoholism. Not that any of this is important to my post. But yes, both were not working around the time of my accident.
