Great Video...and informative.... When it comes to welding rod, I like to leave the stamped alloy name on and just bend the rod to 90 degrees at the name, that way I know what alloy the rod is and it gives me a way of picking the rod off a flat surface while wearing gloves by rolling the rod until the little tail is upright and grabable. It also lets me know what end of the rod is hot if I lay it down..... It looks like you do not need a post flow on the bead , unlike Stainless, is that correct? Thanks .Cheers form Florida, Paul

Drip 3/32 on one side and drag over. Lay wire on monel and other nickel alloys is not the best way to root. Monel also holds a lot of heat. Around the same size pipe I was hot passing on 220 and filling at 280. Nickel alloys heat is generally your friend. This rooting method works great from duplex to inco to even pure nickel.
