2016 was the first time it won for host and it also won after for costume (makeup, etc). The first time the show itself won an Emmy was in 2018 for season 10 ("Outstanding Reality Show Program.").

Saint Lucia would be Latina America I'm pretty sure. French is a Latin language. A lot of people do include Haiti too.

Saint Lucia is considered the caribbean. The caribbean is considered “the global south” along with latin america, but caribbean islands are not Latin, despite french and the shared history. The way that the french ran their colonial holdings was distinctly different than the way the spanish governed, which accounts for the cultural difference. :)
