I just got home with my wife and my 4-month-old girl. It's 1:59 in the morning, we drive 6 hours or a little more to get there and back. Every second of the road and every mile was a pretty small price for what our hearts and faith experienced. A sublime presence and hundreds of hungry people will serve others. Your concern is definitely shared amongst many, given how broken the Church is, and how it's rode emotionalism for generations. I have no opinion about what I'm seeing. I do hope (and maybe somewhat believe due to world events) that a revival such as Habbakuk is needed, and just may possibly be what we're seeing played out. I just don't know. What I do know for sure is that an awakening of the Church is needed. I'm just happy to know and see in my own life that God is removing me further from this world, but the renewing of my mind, enabling me to better live in the will of the born-again spirit that he created in me. My prayer for the Asbury Revival is that it will not be another revival movement that is all about worship music, feelings and emotions. I pray that this will be a World Wide Transformation that will lead to souls being saved, blind eyes open, the deaf hearing, the mute speaking, people being delivered from demonic spirits, the lame walking, and yes the dead being raised, just like JESUS did.
