The nursery rhyme is appropriate because Shell Oil actually began with shells. In 1833, a London antiques dealer expanded his business by selling boxes covered with rare oriental seashells. They were the thing everybody just had to have then. "If you haven't got a"...shell-covered box..."then you're just a f**king waste man." He tried to corner the market to increase his profits. (Like De Beers has been doing with diamonds for decades. Diamonds are not actually rare but De Beers controls them.). Eventually, his business became Royal Dutch Shell & then Shell Oil.

He did a version of this live at the sky arts awards and really punched the last half of "motherFUCKERS" to that audience of industry people. He was in the middle of a relapse of his illness and so was very sick during that performance.
