in real life a peugeot 308 gti would keep up easily, i know cause i had a bmw and the margin of deceipt both in Accel and COmsuption was huge, hence a tuned old 106 would keep up with it, yes it happened. Also Bmw would like to claim the 135i consumption would be around 3 l /100 (kidding )but in all car magazines they put ridiculous numbers, like if a 350hp car would make 4,5 secs with 1600 kg.BS.

Je veux pas faire le rabat-joie mais pour moi la Peugeot et au dessus en tous (prix, finitions, agrément et plaisir de conduite,... )et puis même dans la miniature tu rigole en disant que la 308 et à 20km/h pendant que la Bmw est à 210 km/h alors que si tu les compare c'est que c'est à peu près équitable et en plus de ça je suis sur que sur route de montagne ta bmw se fait déposer

I own an RCZ R , same engine of 308gti , and it is FUCKIN INSANE. I got a K&N panel filter and a 20 hp remap and i literally DESTROY cars with a LOOOOT more hp's , especially in mixed streets . Incredible engine , completely forged and very reliable.

I perfectly agree... Owner of a 2018 no fap 308gti... K&N replacement filter, first muffler cancelled, and a little remap for 296hp/400nm... Amazing perfs for just 1.6l ... Big brakes 380mm Consumption averrage is 8l per 100kms... I bought it new for 37000€... What else?

The 308 made it look real close. In fact it was reeling it in approaching 200 upwards. Unfortunately the reality is that 10kph gap that was maintained is enough to leave a big gap eventually over the course of the run. Nevertheless the gti. Hats off to you. I do enjoy driving you like no one can take me.

The truth is in the BMW the clock stops when the needle reaches 250, in the Pug the needle reaches 250 before the digital display. Maybe we can assume the Pug about 2 sec faster. That 1.6 THP looks awesome.

Comparer un 1.6 turbo à un 3.5. Évident la 306 sera derrière. Mais sur les petites routes... Ça ne sera pareil, la bmw sera dans le fossé, ça ne tiens pas la route. Elle se fait atomiser proprement. Mettre les chevaux en ligne droite, c'est nul. Rouler type petite route, là on voit la capacité de la voiture et Peugeot nettement devant.

239kg UE. à ce niveau là 60kg ça compte. Ensuite en effet, une boite auto VS une boite méca. et surtout 2 rapports de moins. Quand la BM est à 83 fond de deux, la 308 est à 101. 20km/h d'écart sur un rapport autant dire un gouffre. La BM est plus performante ? oui. Beaucoup plus au regard du prix demandé et des perfs globales ? carrément pas. Après, selon ses envies/moyens y'en a pour tous les gouts, mais la 308 démérite pas tant que ça...
