This is such a great show. I have watched many of the episodes that are mostly in English. It's fun to see how Indian people live in Mumbai. It's so interesting how similar Western and Indian apartments are. I had expected to see more of an Indian decor, but it seems most Indian homes are furnished like any Western home. It's strange that renting is actually cheaper than buying a property. In the US, renting is often more expensive or about the same as purchasing a property.
@herambpatkar10 ай бұрын
Due to the limited land and high population, owning an apartment commands a high premium, mortgages here comes with 8-11% interest..so the monthly premiums are too high for the rentals to catch up..where as most of states have rent control acts keeping a check on the rental market so that working population get the opportunity to live on rent which is usually 1/3rd or 1/4th of mortgage (home loan) premiums....it also prevents people from just from just grabbing all the home inventory by getting cheap mortgages with a risk of creating a real estate bubble...and for interiors most people in the cities have moved away from traditional heavy decors, modern minimalist living is the current theme in the market specially if you are renting.

People don't want to use the BMTC service in Bengaluru and they complain that city doesn't offer good service, which is factually wrong, bus quality are better in Bengaluru compared to Mumbai.
@mkisready Жыл бұрын
BMTC connectivity is not great. The connectivity in Mumbai is much better, you get trains , buses, autos etc everywhere. FYI i have lived in mumbai for 8 years and bangalore for 12 years. Also Mumbai is a great place for growing children.
@sharathmandyam6103 Жыл бұрын
As a Bangalorean who has been to Mumbai I can vouch for better public transport in Mumbai. More trains and autos/taxis are more easily available at reasonable prices. But those complaining about BMTC have no clue how bad buses are in other cities. All the migrant population refuses to use the bus and insists on travelling by car alone if they dont get a cab facility

Bengaluru doesn't offer public transport? Lol 😅 . It has better bus connectivity and even metros now connecting whole city. Other private cabs and rickshaw s are all over. I guess Bengaluru has best BMTC that is bus network in the city. It's overcrowded because of too much incoming crowd from North.

Its nowhere close to what Mumbai offers .. Autos with METER😂, Taxis, extensive local train network, Metro, Public Bus service offering AC, Non-AC, compact or double decker, Ola, Uber, Citiflow buses... a better civic management and planning authority trying their best in a city with so many challenges, definitely better tap water system, maintaining a national park, lakes, an AIRPORT within city limits, tons of upcoming infra projects, coastal road, MTHL, new metro lines... connectivity in unmatched. Plus employment opportunities not just limited to IT, but also in finance and entertainment industry...Mumbai just offers more choices!
