im in south Africa iv watched big chief and the 405 team which are the best and gets me up at 2am to watch them do what they all do best. i agree family comes first however chief made the 405 what it is and in my opinion will be sadly missed. just keep strong chief a brake is as good as a holiday. i wish we could meet up one day. all the hest to you and your family.

He’s not coming back! Hell they don’t even have a show filmed for 2024. Most of the 405 are done with the show because the producers are trying to take the street out of the show. Sadly NPK will becoming to an end soon as well!

This is Hook, from a little town in N.C., now I’ve watched Street Outlaws from day one, Big Chief was the vital part of the show. He was the man!!! One like JJ the Boss, was a good guest, but nobody wins as many races as his group does, my opinion! The show needs Chief back for guidance!!!!! Love NPK racing series!!!!!!

They didn't call out Reaper by name on their video so much because he is unimportant to the grand scheme of anything, was a perennial part timer on the show and didn't win a single thing of note whilst on the show at any rate. Reaper got salty that Chief brought taking his silly ass carbon fiber pro mod that has zero to do with street racing off the show after Reaper dry snitched on himself for the car not falling within the bullshit rules of the show they had to change every three seconds to appease manbabies.

Chief was the race master and part of that duty is to set the rules and decide any race disputes. The "Race is a Chase" crap is also a major part of his leaving. Pilgrim wanted the extra drama that the "cheat" offered for their program. Chief refused to go along with that rule. JJ then gathered the group of drivers and had them vote. Since Memphis had more represented they won the vote. Chief walked away. Money also had a role.

The longer shows run, the popularity fades. Also with adding more shows like NPK and Mega Cash Days, people find something they like better. The original show got boring with the same guys racing each other. Was better when team 405 raced other cities.

Ive watched street racers since around day 1 and Big Chief and the 405 was the show. This reminds me of my younger days when everyone built their rods and raced..everyone was competitive and had minor arguments but stayed friends. This no prep kings isnt street racing. In mmy day street racing on a desolate 2 lane hwy. Big Chief amd 405 are the best

When I was a kid DRAG RACING was locals against locals, not the big money event it has become via NHRA. Street Outlaws was reminiscent of my early life experience without the big money taking over. NPK has ruined the concept Street Outlaws brought to kids building hot rods. NPK will die off soon as it is just another version of the NHRA plus the original Street Outlaw cast is diminishing as big money racers try to take the spotlight. It was fun while it lasted, stick a fork in Street Outlaws it is done. Big Chief is just and early example of why, Discover channel doesn't realize what they have done to the show, Chief knows.

It looks like he is doing fine without the show I liked the first few seasons but then it changed I liked it more with the more streetabĺe cars meaning that the average guy could own and build not cars that cost a couple hundred thousand dollars to build it pretty much got to be who had more money çould be the fastest its just the way I see it. Racing has came so far sense I was street racing back ìn the 70s alot of street cars a running a few seconds faster the race cars from the 70s and 80s a 9.90 race car back in the 80s was pretty fast now there's guys running 7.90s in strèet cars on E85 and pump gas it's just crazy to think that years ago I thought that would be impossible.

The show is not the same. I'd like to see him come back. Everyone of them has issues, not just Chief. It's natural for people to immediately "jump on the pile" if anything negative is/was shown and find every fault/mistake he has made. People need to look at themselves before judging by what they only see on TV. The whole presence and dynamics of the show aren't the same without him. I doubt he'll be back but I hope they work things out. Don't blame anything on the Chief/Precious incident, lots of them had beefs with each other, nothing came tumbling down. They changed the rules and like all TV, we're fickled in the way they "jumped ship" when JJs group became popular and they just started ignoring the rest, especially the "founders of the feast," the OKC gang. Others were bitching about the changes, too, not just Chief.

I knew Chief wouldn't stay around after "Axe man" had his temper tantrum and refused to race down. I watched a lot of the new prep kings and other "Street Outlaws" spin-offs but it's just not the same without Chief.
