They should know that the Government taxes is 25% and the brokerage fee is approximately 0.08% which is a total of 25.08% or $2508 of the capital of $10,000. Unfortunately, the investor will suffer a loss of -$1,508 dues to taxes and transaction fees….. An investor should sell their stock for at least $1 for every dollar of their capital or 100% of their capital in order to receive a satisfactory gain.

Hi kalilah, if you reinvesting your dividends in the company do you still have to pay the taxes & fees. In the USA once you reinvest your dividend Within that company you dont have to pay the taxes🤷‍♂️
