Moneyraids ep.1 | Mdps

Hi! This is the first episode of a new series showing my casual moneyraids vibe. I don't have a format for these videos, but this one is just raw footage of 2 runs as mdps.
I'm halfway posting this as an update to the road to rec series which we're working on continuing, but we stumbled upon some roadblocks that might be resolved soon. More updates on that later. Meanwhile I'll continue posting videos like this and eventually run this parallel with road to rec. pce

I've never been a fan of these plugins that make enemies auto-disappear before the hit even lands, or turning the floor/background blue, or low detail mode in general. Like, part of the game is the spectacle of it and the art/animations, is it not? Basically not even playing the same game at this point. It's all just click this, click that. The enemy models and your player character could be replaced with literal boxes and spheres at this point. I guess we play the game for different reasons.

though i halfway agree with you, the issue with the animations is that they're bugged. once something dies it goes into a death animation and this animation is for some reason still redclickable. there's no way to tell from the right click menu which are alive or dead which is poor communication from the game to the player. we do what we must. additionally, osrs isnt known for it's amazing art and graphics anyway, so i dont feel too bad removing or recoloring parts of it. i do get your point though, but at higher levels of pvm the game is really clunky and inconvenient

@@Vasatus Thanks for the reply, yeah I do agree that the clunkiness of the game hinders some high level pvm. Regarding the death animations being red clickable, there's an option to remove menu entry options for dead NPCs while still playing their death animation within Menu Entry Swapper on base runelite. It's what I prefer to use over Entity Hider since it actually plays death anims but does the same thing.
