I clean and sanitize my phone and case with an alcohol cleaning solution, typically every other day, but a minimum of twice a week. It's the same way with my tablets, laptop, and other electronics. That phone was disgusting. I couldn't imagine the amount of germs and bacteria alone on that case! Omg wow 😳

Dont use plastic to remove dust on speaker grill just use wipe cloth and use prophylAlcohol to clean it then use brush ...it will clean more dirt without scratches

i never change my case. i still have the original otterbox defender for my iPhone 6 Plus. i take it off about once every 6 months and put in a bowl of Dawn dishwashing liquid and water. let it soak for about 5 minutes, and then take each piece out and scrub with a toothbrush. i've had it for 8yrs and it still looks brand new. its pink btw. i take care of my phone. never had a broken screen either.
