I was addicted to meth and fentanyl for 8 years. Overdosed once and quit the fen with no help. Then quit meth shortly after. Lost 2 best friends last month to gang violence due to drug territory. It's a life that sounds appealing, especially when you grew up poor or in my case had family entrenched in the life of crime. Some people make it out and some people never see past the needle or end of a bullet.

Prohibition doesnt work, Portugal legalised the USAGE of all drugs their overdose rates are now at 6 per 100,000 people, compared to the USA which sits nearly at 300 per 100,000, Portugal had similar rates to the states until they changed their laws, not sure where New Zealand stands but you will give clean medical grade drugs to people that like that sort of thing and save a few lives in the process with no interventionist dramas on TV and deny the criminal world revenue.
