3:50 this is very good point to bring up, damage per second is drastically affected by these small changes and even more by what window off opportunity can be achieved. with combos having backloaded damage, an increase to moves with more hitstop won't help. I feel like only certain moves need hitstop like combo finishers and other moves that don't primarily get used for combo routes. which is kind of looks like setting insect glaive air attacks not pause gunlance sweep had a large amount of hitstop in the OTB yet the damage was reduced from previous games (hitstop added 20% more delay to the move) it honestly should not be this much for how weak of an attack it is. but more importantly, increasing it's damage won't help here because the mice was already bad and only used to combo into a stronger move. will they consider this? i hope they choose to give gunlance more options out of shell like running slash so we aren't forced to use running sweep all the time for this reason and more
