I hear the negative peoples comments but they reflect you aren’t a performer. When you perform on a big show with many artist not your band or audio team it be off for them in they ear. As a singer if the sound off it throws your vocals off cause its irritating and they try to hide it keep show going. But i do agree some runs i would prefer to not but nothing she does fails. Only reason yall dont notice it with beyonce one untrained ears and her mic has hella echo and reverb so you dont really hear the mistakes but none perfect especially at a show thats not yours

Something is wrong with you then...or perhaps just your ears. Monica is one of a few artists who sound BETTER live. Uncompromised tone, uninhibited singing, and impeccable control of her voice. If that doesn't sound good to you, then I don't know what to tell you 🤷🏾‍♀️. I will say this though, she made some questionable decisions while singing "For You I Will". I wasn't to crazy about her rendition of that song here, BUT, that has nothing to do with her VOICE and vocal prowess. Monica can sing down.

Listen there are plenty of singers who sound just like themselves live as the record ... There are singers who sound like the record or better live Kelly Price....Kenny latimore Chante' Moore....Tamia ......also Monica has a strong but limited vocal range so I feel like she is doing too much. If she just sticks to singing it like the record she would be fine. But she always a little... off. Go watch Monica attempt to sing Mary J Blige not gon cry on KZbin for an example.....she really ain't got that a voice like that...she nice but..... limited
