LaserIO cards have a sneaky mode that allows you to access any side of the node's adjacent block which would allow you to put the node on a side that isn't directly above the ebf input hatches

I've gotta say, the updates to your resource pack are a MASSIVE improvement over the first versions! The shading adds so much more depth and shape to the items, and the metallic items (motors, pumps, etc.) truly look metallic now! Also, adding animations was a very nice touch! I'd definitely encourage adding more of those where they'd seem to fit, it's extra work but it's worth it. Really brings the items to life. Keep up the good work!

12:49 - Three, you don't have to click on each drawer when adding it to the controller; you can click on corner drawers and it will add every drawer in between the two. In this case you could've only clicked on the sodium drawer (top left) and on the cobblestone drawer (bottom right) and have every drawer added to the controller. This also works in 3 dimensions.

I'm currently at ev stage. The ME requesters are a godsend for passiving without setting up dedicated machine setups. Just work on fast throughput with your machines and set up requesters and ME patterns to pull through the system. Pattern p2p are great for single machine paralellisation. Just remember blocking mode. The multi block versions of single machines are great but can be annoying at early levels due to fluid or circuit requirements spread over multiple buses. I found the Gregtech "buffer" helps split fluids to multiple buses from pattern provider. Eventually the Me fluid hatch for passive setups like ebf or 4/9 input hatches at later levels are amazing. Some multiblocks have strict casing requirements and you just can't add all the buses you need. I can't wait for the dual item fluid buses and parallel buses. When automating the Multiblock Chemical reactor I was stumped for a while. The need for different circuits hampers paralellisation. And if you don't want recipes cross reacting you need to use the pattern provider option "dont craft until main item returns". However these doesn't work with p2p pattern provider as returning item HAS to pass through pattern provider block to unlock, this makes p2p pattern paralellisation impossible. So you need to have one pattern provider with copies of patterns per circuit recipe in order to parallel craft. Hope this is useful info.

If I remember correctly, in GTNH at least, wiremill recipes for wires were faster the more X is per single wire. For example 16x wire is faster to craft then 2x. After you can just craft them manually into 2x.

For Laser IO, you can just connect all the nodes together in series or parallel. You dont need them to all go to a central node. I'm not sure what's causing the card to get pulled in though, that's a shame. It might get fixed if you submit a bug report though? TMGT looks amazing. Everything is very readable, and I really like how it evolved from the original showcase. Great job!

The button to the right of the reddstone button in the LaserIO GUI is for channels so you can have input and output in one node instead of two. you can daisy chain the laser nodes as well instead of connecting all of them to just one node. There should also be a way to change the color of the laser nodes iirc.
@Shruikan101113 сағат бұрын
Hi three! You can lock all of the drawers in a controller's network by locking the controller instead of the individual drawers!
@trulyno19 сағат бұрын
Did you know that you can rotate the multiblocks? Also, someone probably mentioned it already, but you don't have to use tools to access covers. You can go in the machine/controller GUI and go in the IO section and click on a desired side. You can choose the item output with left click and fluid output with right click. Click multiple times for auto output, or use the buttons. In the bottom left side of the GUI, there is a slot for covers. Do make sure to place the cover from the world and not the slot, as it has caused problems before. When a cover is placed, a cog button will appear for configuring the cover.

If you turn off the input buses, they won't suck the cards out of the node, even though they will face the node itself Edit: also, you can do the same channel separation for input and output with laserio, that way multiple nodes on an interface is pointless
@camer537119 сағат бұрын
im pretty sure you can put a filter into the greg tech input when you configure it by clicking the relevant side then there should be a box that looks like the filter just plop it in there and set the filter for the item card and then blacklist. every side has a separate filter slot i belive so you can have more filters on other sides later on.

Pretty sure EBFs can share energy hatches too (they could in Nomi). So you can put three MV energy hatches across two EBFs and share one energy hatch between the two EBFs and get HV out of both. Have not tested on Monifactory.

Hello Threefold! Awesome videos as always 😊. Now i have 4 suggestions for u. First of all, if u make the inputs of your ebfs face towards a differect side other than the laser nodes, they shouldnt pull it from inside the laser node. Secondly, u could propably get away with using 1 mv energy hatch per 2 ebfs since each one can handle 2 amps and the ebfs use only 1 amp. Moreover, u can use digital storage for your passive setups with interfaces and partitioned cells, which would reduce the use of storage busses and the lag later on(and use storage motitors, if this is how they are called, if u want to see the items u have in each setup). Last but not least, if u want to make some setups a bit cheaper, I suggest to use the push and pull upgrades for drawers, since they can do the same thing with conveyors (i think u used them a bit in the early episodes). Cant wait for the next video !!!
@gme423611 сағат бұрын
Three you can use the soft mallet to disable the auto input on input busses (or the power button in the ui)
@noahbennett296118 сағат бұрын
not sure if you know, but for all the storage drawer upgrades, the scaling on the increase is exponential. a copper upgrade is just wood and copper, and 4 copper upgrades alone allow you to store 8.4 million of a single item. i usually just throw 4 on any of my drawers instead of bothering with any of the higher tier upgrades like diamond.
@cosmxcvortex137119 сағат бұрын
@threefold if you face the muffle hatch on the inside of the ebf it won’t be obstructed and you can place anything above it afterwards
@timothymiller46718 сағат бұрын
I think someone already mentioned a solution. But you can also just aim the input bus away from the laser node, and laserio can still push/pull from the bus

See, I would probably have beelined to improved circuit design. Specifically, the chemistry infrastructure to support the upgrades, Sulfuric Acid and Chlorine. With those two, you can get Sodium Persulfate (technically Iron III Chloride too) for the plastic boards since you already have polyethylene set up, You've got the MV engraver and a Diamond lens for CPU wafers, you've got the liquid polyethylene for SMD components, Chlorine plus your polyethylene will net you PVC for the capacitors, the only thing that might be difficult would be the Gallium in sufficient quantity for the Transistors. Once you do that, both your LV and MV circuit production becomes much more simplified and efficient with the Final Tier 1 and Tier 2 production!
