Oh wow I'm in a video! my old username was xercer btw. I haven't been a part of the Anti-P2W scene for a while now (mostly due to life getting in the way, health etc.), but that hasn't stopped me from trying to think of other ways to stop P2W servers. Let's not beat around the bush here; AntiP2W as a movement isn't sustainable by only looking for ways to lag a server or item duplication methods. We have to utilize other methods, but we just aren't yet. Folia is already making a world of difference for lag on servers, and Mojang (also third party plugin developers) are constantly patching dupes. It's very analogous to the cybersecurity world of today. So, what are our solutions? Well, social engineering would be a great option, but it wouldn't work well. Finding server code exploits are also off the table as they become harder to find. Even raiding P2W servers is a pebble thrown into the vast lake of child gambling exploitation. Our solution should be so incredibly simple that literally anyone can contribute to the AntiP2W movement. I have a brilliant idea. IF this idea is done well enough, Mojang could probably get involved as well. Well, that's a MAJOR *if*. My idea could be completely stupid as well, but I'm tired after sitting around thinking about the best option available for years. Gosh, my scheming juices haven't flowed this well ever since I was trying to root out insiders from Horizon when we were still a 2b2t group. I'm both worried, and simultaneously excited for the idea I have because, if pulled off correctly, it could change thousands of Minecraft servers. If pulled off poorly, it could fade into nothingness. Dangit, now I need to make a discord server, outline my entire plan there and then see how it goes. Great video btw

The biggest issue with "destroying p2w" is that most of the time the impact is very small. Rarely do servers get shut down or lose the majority of their playerbase.

Opera is just a reskinned chrome more or less. got a bit less of the google spyware but I'm sure it's got the analytics harvesting baked into chromium and some extra stuff on top as well. It's got nice features but yea if you really wanna get away from chromium firefox or safari are the main options

I'm surprised that you didn't mention Team Avolition They used to do a lot of trolling and griefing in the past, and they helped out The Horizon, Duper Trooper, and SalC1 with some trolling on a P2W server a few years ago. They actually managed to create some chaos without duping or crashing the server.

All of that is totally unnecessary for progression, it is just an option. With ender dragons being the inly exception, but they are only needed for extremely fast enderman slayer (its not even needed) and m7 fifth phase, which is pretty niche end game content.

To be fair, skyblock does have gambling, but it is based solely on using coins and not real money. You could still technically buy cookies and turn the money from them into dice though. However, buying dice with any form of money/coins is NEVER worth doing since they practically never pay out. The gambling methods the game gives you are always obviously rigged against you. The only time you can usually profit from a dice is by grinding for it yourself.

I remember when SalcC1 did the dupe on Earthmc. I was actually on during the time of that dupe. I was pretty new to the server and one of the towns in the south american region (Bolivia) fell victim to that dupe. It was the first town I joined on that server and when the dupe happened they got enough gold (the duped items) to register their town as an empire. I left that town before it occurred but I was still in the discord and they said something like they got enough gold to register as an empire. Shortly after that I remember the server was shutdown temporarily. At the time I didn't know why it was shutdown but I heard there were rumors of some dupe going on. Sometime later I remember watching that SalC1 video and was blown away, in the video I actually saw my self in chat looking to buy a Luck of The Sea book. Idk its just crazy to me I was playing on the server when that video occurred, I don't know why Salc1 had beef with the server but its a cool story,

Thank god i never had the mindset of wasting money on servers. I alway though to myself: Is putting my money into this server going to have any worthness? If i were to expect a server not to live forever or have resets then i would put $0 into it. Thus far there is only 2 servers i putted money and none toward gambling. Mineplex and Wynncraft, surprise surprise mineplex closed even though it would last for a very long time. Yes yes i know SamitoD bought Mineplex's assests but there is low probability the ranks and gadgets player bought will transfer to the reborn in some way.

and this is why you don't make mincraft servers have child gambling, you either make some kind of protection against it by like "Are you 18+ years of age" and have a [YES] and a [NO] atleast then ppl can't sue the server for child gambling or anything... or just make something like genshin impact, with a pity system where you are guaranteed to get good items every 10 pulls, and legendary best tier items every 90 pulls, but mostly dependant on luck
