*Damn*, I normally don’t like “that’s how that character died” jokes in fandoms like DDLC since you see blunt puns and the like of that nature so often there and in, like, the Dangan Ronpa fandom so often that it just becomes low-hanging fruit, but the word and sound play in the bit with the other club girls was so creative (“your audience would snap nex-t”) that I *really* liked it, and the tying-relevance-between-characters made for the Suicide Squad joke landing as really darkly fun and clever, too. I watched your Freddy vs. Pennywise battle a couple of times and some of your others before coming back to this one (it got recced to me, thank you, algorithm) and I am definitely subbing and actively looking forward to seeing what your next video is!

This is great. Harley succumbs to a lack of line variety though, the gist of her verses is repeating that Monika can't get the love she wants, while Monika was able to hit her questionable relationship, sidekick status, and fashion. Harley's line about a million nerds also holdd true for her, lessening the effectiveness of an otherwise good diss. I give this to Monika.

Honestly, I think it’s very even. I believe Harley had better comebacks and disses, but Monica had more diverse set of insults. The animation is great, too! I absolutely loved Monica coming out of the computer, that’s very rare to even see that attempted much less done well! Personally, I believe Harley won by her comeback on that her last stanza. after finishing ddlc, i must say i understand this much better. from the beginning where we see sayori’s body and hear a quiet “just monika”, to the part where harley mentions “you think your prince charmings waiting on the other side” referring to how monika fell in love with the PLAYER. the references are amazing, and now i can actually understand everything now, it’s an insane battle. i’d have to say it’s a draw. i love the references derived exactly from ddlc on harley’s behalf, and i love the variety that monika had.
