Water won’t damage components as long as there is no power in any component. But still even after a couple of days there still might be some water left in some areas even if it still powers up. Corrosion can also happen on the boards later.

You have an incredible amount of creativity and talent, thank you for sharing! You inspire me to make the most of old hardware and especially trashed cases. You can turn a $0 junk case destined for the landfill into a piece of art that has better value than money. Nice upgrades and restoration of this computer! I'm glad that you managed to get the components upgraded, and the case actually doesn't look too bad either. Though personally, I'd have just kept the case as it was, and just upgraded the internals (I'd have also kept the hard drive bay and the DVD drive bay). Also - you probably expected this - I'd have used Windows 7 instead of Windows 10 for older titles. Windows 10 will still work, just not as well as Windows 7. Heck, if the drivers were available for the CPU and GPU (as well as accessories), you could even dual boot Windows 7 with the 64-bit version of Windows XP (64 bit version to use more than 4GB RAM).
@ComputersAndTechAndAndrew2 жыл бұрын
I agree with you bro, the Windows 7 and XP will work far better than 10, but I go with 10 just to test and I want to see is this going to work good or not :D

Amazingly well done!!! The only thing I would change would be to make the rear IO plate black with yellow stripes or maybe even red to match the power button, instead of the original shiny metal color. Also maybe paint the aluminum part of the GPU shroud yellow as well. Still an incredible build!!!

@giancarlodekurmapuci95202 жыл бұрын
Am i the only one who keeps hearing 960 but the card is 690? Anyway, i would put some modern components inside (not overkill, just decent ones) because all that modding with the case and those cylinders with fluorescent liquid is just LIT. It looks very awesome on the outside, it's a shame to have low spec config on the inside. I hope this build will have an upgrade in the future because it's deserve it
