The Solar Empire The issue is people keep blaming Vixen for reacting. Eureka did not get nearly as much lash back from the fan community when she started drama. The community isn’t being fair to Vixen by essentially given Eureka a pass and utterly condemning Vixen. Eureka knew what she was doing. Could Vixen have been the bigger person? Yes, but she shouldn’t be ostracized for choosing to not. There’s a reason why her voice resonates so deeply with the black LGBTQ community, and it’s because we understand her. When we’re attacked, we have to be the bigger people or risk being blamed for defending ourselves. It’s not fair.

I can’t imagine the pain of feeling like you need to change yourself. I remember at 12 coming out to my youth group leader. Within a couple months we had a group getaway. All the leaders said some stuff they struggled with which I really loved. one of our leaders had drug issues another one was kidnapped and assaulted by her father. Really just made you feel like you weren’t alone in your struggles. THEN the leader I came out to comes on stage and her sign says “ I was a lesbian for years until I prayed to god now I’m married to a man with a child on the way.” My heart literally sank. I never went back again. That broke my heart knowing that she thinks we should “pray it away.”

I will agree that vixen was quite rude at times and it made certain moments unwatchable without anger. But I will agree that the perspective of her was purely exaggerated because of her race, she has been made the villain of the whole drag race franchise when queen's like phi phi o hara acted the way they did in their season but vixen got the backlash and slurs sent to her on Instagram. Also rupaul did her wrong by being so aggressive just to make her look more of a villain, I get why vixen walked out tbh. Also I appreciate Aquaria's drag, but I didn't get why she would come for vixen and then get confused when she gets a reaction, and then crying when a point was made really added the finishing touches to vixen's villain narrative. I honestly want vixen to come back just the way she is because I I appreciate a queen who doesn't give any fucks just maybe less combative, because the racist side of the fandom did her dirty. I hope vixen is doing well.

There’s a difference between being honest and flat out disrespectful, you can give criticism and the truth if people aren’t being honest but don’t be an annoyance about it. Like she deadass just brought negativity everywhere she went, and once she was eliminated untucked got sooooo much better. Same with Yvie, girl I love her drag but sometimes, things are better off unsaid because you’ll just stir up drama. Overall, I think she has points she’s just absolutely terrible at executing them.
