Are your speaker stands by monitor audio also?
@joshuabrain9751 Жыл бұрын
Yes they are but they’re the platinum 2 model stands. The Platinum 3 stands weren’t available when I got the speakers.

Hi Joshua, Have you been able to compare these MA PLT 100 3G to KEF Reference 1 speakers? I am in two minds between either model? Thanks
@joshuabrain9751 Жыл бұрын
Hi Richard no I haven’t heard the Kef Reference sorry so can’t compare them. The AMT tweeter definitely has its own sound to it that I find very natural, especially accurate with timbre. Coming from my original speakers which were Focal Electra that had the beryllium tweeter, I found the beryllium maybe a little more detailed but not as lifelike sounding. I’ve heard great things about the Kef Reference, it would be a difficult decision to choose I’m sure.

@@joshuabrain9751 Thanks for reaching out. Much appreciated. My listening space measures 19.5ft long x 11.5ft wide x 10-14ft high. Which would be the better speaker for this size room between PLT 100 & or 200 3G for all genre of music?
@joshuabrain9751 Жыл бұрын
@@richarddegannes2928 I would say the 100, the 200 might be too large for that room but if you can demo them both that’s what I would do. The 200 will excel in bass weight and extension compared to the 100 due to bigger cabinet size.
@chrisrichards2827 Жыл бұрын
@@joshuabrain9751 The 200 will definitely not be too much for that room, I've got the MA 200 G2 in a room that's eight and a half feet wide by 23 ft long and it sounds incredible, The 200 G3 go a little bit deeper in bass but I don't think it's going to overwhelm the room but still very controlled bass.

Hello. How big is the difference between Gold 100 and PL100? Because both of these models have an AMT tweeter. More precisely, I wanted to know if Gold 100 would be enough to be completely satisfied with the sound quality ?
@chrisrichards2827 Жыл бұрын
I think you should learn to set up speakers properly you got a big open window behind them bouncing the sound all over the place and wrecking the center image give your head a shake bud.
@joshuabrain9751 Жыл бұрын
Lol settle down cobba, I know they’re not optimally placed. I’ll just let my partner know that we have to re arrange our room cause Chris Richards on KZbin said I don’t know how to setup speakers properly. I know they’re not optimal, I don’t have a choice currently. Regardless, you haven’t been in the room so you really can’t judge how they sound on any meaningful level.
@chrisrichards2827 Жыл бұрын
@@joshuabrain9751 I don't have to be in the room Joshua I can see how poorly they're set up I've been at this for 40 years so I know a lot more than you do.

@@chrisrichards2827 well I can tell you they have been brought out into the room on occasions (with a lot of space behind them and to their sides) and yes the imaging does improve, I won’t deny that but I think you would be surprised how unfussy these speakers are, it’s not a dramatic change where they’re sitting. I’ve been at this 15 years mate, long enough.

@@joshuabrain9751 that open window at the back is definitely not helping if you drew the blinds I'm sure the center image would improve quite a bit. and also covering the TV with a blanket would help as well

@@chrisrichards2827 yep have our rug over the tv and had the blind open and they definitely improve. I’ve also had them moved out into the room a bit with the rug over the tv and they improve even more.
