When I was breeding veiled chameleons as a teenager, I was turned on to Miner-All for them and I haven't stopped using it since. You can use it for carnivores, insectivores, omnivores, herbivores...you get the point. The stuff is wonderful. It doesn't just contain calcium and D3, but a ton of trace elements and minerals as well. Here I am over 20 years later and still haven't found the need to use anything else for supplementation. Always love seeing the videos with Mike!

I hunt, have worked at zoos and have owned all kinds of venomous and non venomous animals. 2 things scare me: tapeworms(internal parasites). I saw a video last week of 3 people getting giant worms removed from their eyes. The only animal on earth that "scares" me is the giant Shoebill that bird and its noise it makes is spine shivering for me😂
@peggedyourdad9560
@peggedyourdad9560 11 ай бұрын
Oh yeah, parasites are no joke and cause millions of deaths all around the world. This is very much unlike shoebills that are actually very friendly to humans, although their childrearing and hunting/feeding practices are definitely a cause for pause.

I work with every manor of spider and tarantula, hot and not, deadly scorpions, centipedes, roaches, assassin bugs, snakes, lizards, frogs, etc. All the stuff that people are normally afraid of, I have zero issues with. Once an animal dies, for someone unexplainable reason, I’m terrified of their dead bodies 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 No clue why I have this fear, but I’ve never been able to get over it. If any critter dies, my other half has to take care of the body every time. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Arboreal Geckos jump. Also a gecko can have a surprising bite force. Even some 6 inch Diplodactyline gex can draw blood and can attempt a 'deathroll' of your finger, twisting and turning leaving a 2 to 3 day mark. ( personal experience). A NZ giant centipede nip hurt like nothing else I've experienced from the animal or plant kingdom tho. Electric shock immediacy, molten lava up arm feel, and minutes of uncontrollable screaming out loud & 20 or so mins to subside. Fire 'wyrm' from hell. Plus they eat geckoes. Paper Wasp stings are nothing in comparison although a Tasmanian paper wasp got me good once in the torso and an Asian paper wasp sting in the eyelid hurt a bit. (Note to self- never again direct the water hose at a paperwasp nest! )
@peggedyourdad9560

IntereSTING, I actually have multiple kinds of wasps in my yard and on my house and they're surprisingly chill. Got an underground yellow jacket nest that just doesn't care about anything, not even lawnmowers. All this being said, the time when I had to chase a giant red wasp out of the hole in my window screen had to be one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. That experience left me paranoid for days, if not for a couple of weeks. The centipede experience makes sense when you remember that centipedes are venomous, especially the giant ones. They aren't typically dangerous to humans, unless someone possesses a severe allergy to centipede venom.
