Funny thing is everyone thinks the snake won. But the opposite is true. The ML bit the snake n is now in basically a venom coma which he WILL come out of. Venom can't kill them. However the MLs venom will slowly kill the snake and when ML wakes up his snack will b dead n ready for consumption.

Проблема в том, что варан во первых тоже имеет яд, а во вторых его челюсти очень сильные, так что если он умрет с зажатыми челюстями, то змея просто физически не выберется

КРАСАВА но яда у врага нет. У него в слюне бактерии, так как он питается педалью и не брезгует даже когда уже туда разлагается. В его ротовой полости био бомба из бактерий, которые ему абсолютно не вредят так как у него иммунитет к этим бактериям

Let me explain! The lizard has a defense mechanism against the venom. It will most likely put the lizard to sleep or paralyze him for some time, but if and when he wakes up, his venom would have killed the snake once it kicks in. So by locking on the snake, it will be around when he wakes up. Now sometimes the venom can be too much and the monitor could die, but we wont know in this short clip.

provided it's a komodo dragon, or close relative. the bacteria in it mouth which the real killer would kill the snake. hence the lizard is not venomous. pending the snake type, the venom maybe poisonous/toxic. likely the lizard will lose, if the dose is lethal. clearly that snake is going all out and that does not look like komodo.
