Title says big lizard size, but starts with small lizards. Could've started with gila monster. Imagine *if* any of the iguanas were as big as the megalania, while being harmless and friendly, we could ride them. The comparison of the komodo dragon and the person 4:38 makes it look big enough to ride. Then again, going by the (image) search result "viva jkt48 komodo dragon," people *could* ride them.

@@docu-menter2702 Judging by photos of how the back spines bend, they're likely to be fleshy. So in order to ride a large iguana the size of a megalania, the rider could sit between the spines by bending them a bit.

There are many extinct creatures that are literally just bigger sometimes more exagerated versions of modern creatures. eg Megalodon is bigger bulkier Great white, Titanoboa is Boa with more teeth, Megalainia is just big Monitor with komodo proportions. Deinosuchus is big alligator, Purusaurus is big Caiman, Sarcosuchus is big Crocodile. Mamoth is big hairy Elephant, ect.
