Feels like life is only meaningful being self aware in long run, and that can't be done without being more like a machine. Enlightenment is only for those who can constantly judge the 'baseline' right and handle the truth.. and enlightenment is only half good unless one leans to distribute it on a properly defined grid. Really just can't thank Sam enough for relentlessly dragging the lost souls to his grid, where a conscious being has to make it's judgement.

Surrender everything that isn’t within the slide. Complete discipline. Enjoy the pain of carving your best self from the ashes of procrastination, lost time, past disappointments, and lack of motivation. No motivation is needed. It doesn’t have to feel good. Soon you will enjoy the burn of a silent room because it’s the sound of your dreams and you becoming closer. Shut out the distractions and finally lose yourself in the idea that who you are and who you want to be are already one 🤞🏿

I’m discovering this beautiful presentation for the first time today. By the way, this presentation maps extremely well onto the Bhagavad Gita, which is part of many ancient Indian scriptures. The Bhagavad Gita instructs to ‘control the senses’ and ‘slay desire’. Then meditate (‘karma yoga’) and concern yourself with ‘right action’. Do this, and renounce any attachment to the fruits of your labour. Thank you again for this video.

I first came across this video around early 2021, and have found myself coming back to it at crucial moments in my life where I needed to re-focus and re-establish my discipline. This year I'm revisiting it because I'm going through a very intensive year-long coding/computer science university program which focuses on programming/web development, and has the potential to completely change my life for the better. (Doing a two year associate in one year. Just how this particular program is set up.) It's been incredibly difficult, but I've loved every moment of it. Coding has become my all-consuming passion, and I just cannot find the time to learn and do more of it as I would like to. The biggest challenge for me has been close ones (friends/family) influencing me to give them time/energy that I don't have (and don't want) to waste on distractions with them (e.g. watch tv/movies, drink, party… etc.) Over the past two weeks specially, I have struggled with letting things go which do not serve, and hinder my purpose (people/activities). I’m rewatching this video today because it has been on my mind lately, particularly the section where Sam talks about “whatever doesn’t serve the goal, you must burn it in the fire and use it as fuel” (paraphrasing). As of late, any time I experience anything which attempts to deviate me from my purpose, I find myself picturing a big bonfire in the middle of the woods at night, throwing that thing in it, saying good-bye, mourning a bit, and moving on with the task at hand. I even find myself doing this with my coding projects where, if something (like a cool feature) does not serve the core purpose of why I’m building it, then I must chop it off. 😭 I guess I’m just posting this long-winded message here to say thank you for sharing this invaluable tool. Now that I’m learning programming, I see this video as an incredible piece of human-brain software which, when properly assimilated, diminishes/eliminates unnecessary/redundant processes, and optimizes limited resources (time/energy) for more efficient goal completion/attainment. Almost all other videos in this channel have a similar purpose, in my view. I don’t expect Sam to ever read these comments, but I just wanted to leave this thank you note here. (I hope you're doing good in all your endeavors. Skool seems like an awesome project which I might use one day if I start teaching.) I suspect that I will be revisiting this video again in the future when I need to re-focus again, so I also want to start leaving a comment/record here every time I do. 😋 Tell me if you are also revisiting. 👇🏽

A Course in Discipline by Mr. Tran. The secret to life: Discipline. Without discipline, nothing can be achieved. Without discipline, nothing has value. Without discipline, everything is worthless. He who has discipline, has everything. He who has no discipline, has nothing. Discipline never disappoints. (A discipline man will never disappoints you and an un-discipline man will always let you down.) Be discipline or be punished. Suffering is good. It brings about discipline. Discipline always wins. Discipline is life's greatest secret, life's most valued treasure, and most satisfying gift. Life is easy when you're disciplined and hard when you're not. Discipline is the mean to all ends. Be disciplined or be punished. Success is a system and it requires discipline to operate it. Without a system, there is no success. Your life will never be complete without discipline--no matter what materials you possess in your life, who you married, where you live, what you do for a living, you will always be incomplete. A fulfilled life is a disciplined life. Definition of discipline: Repeat (to the intelligent standards from your mind that you have set).

I don’t feel time spent with good people as long as you have mindful boundaries is an essential thing to give up. If anything my community have helped me elevate ✨

This the most valuable piece of content available on the internet as of today. Not just this but everything you've made so far. You are my mentor and ultimate guide to business life. I used to get hyped on Grant Cardone and Gary Vee content. And I still do! But they used entertainment as a step up stone(nothing wrong with that) but you doesn't, and don't get me wrong they are performance lezard also. But their DNA ain't pure as yours is. You are a true lezard being. To be honest at first when i came across sam ovens, I thought u we're just some webinar seller wannabe with a weird accents and a blue suit, so I discarded you automatically. But like u keep explaining, your technic won on me, by havimg the absolute best product on the market without all the fluff. You've set the standard to such a high level now that, everyone else doing productivity content seem to be entertainment purpose only. Sincerely, Thank you.

And this is here for FREE!! RIGHT? 💖 I mean... You can walk on fire with Tony Robbins for $2,000 and got nothing!! 🤣 💵💰 Trust me, along my 20-year $piritual journey I've tried EVERY TENET, METHOD from East & West: #Reiki #ThetaHealing #Hypnotherapy #Buddhism #Meditation #ThePowerOfNow (The Powa of cash 🤭), #SilvaMethod #RosyCross etc. So what...? NOTHING! NADA!

Brilliant video. I have been already applying a lot of these myself, including no-fap (the most important). And I can say with confidence these things work. The big question is: what do you want to achieve? This is where I blundered at first not realizing that I will actually achieve these things. Having a goal you truly want to achieve is key. It is really peculiar how similar we think, but with your age and experience you are much more advanced in the metrics and systems you use to measure your progress.

NO SELF-HELP GURU REQUIRED. Some of the greatest self-help guru's clients have dismal results until they teach them how to derive their true source of power from WITHIN. No amount of external teaching on discipline, motivation, persistence, or planning is sufficient to reach the next level. Unless one's passion & purpose is fueled by an ambition from WITHIN, all their efforts will be but another frustrated short lived endeavor. You need but two things to reach the next level of success. Both of which must come from WITHIN the individual. #1 Ambition #2 Your why Everything else needed to achieve/accomplish ones ambition will then come automatically once those two elements are derived from WITHIN the individual. External programs never work if they are not catered to tap into the inner resources of the person. Because they don't take into consideration a persons values, unique personality, background and the fact that EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT, and therefore what works for one person, may not work for another. Teaching anyone success principles based upon a grab-all methodology is a losing proposition.
