To elaborate, I find my current healer kill routine is: Paralysis -close gap while healer trinket- leg sweep, jab, expel harm,-tiger strike if plate or mail- rising sun kick, blackout kick, jab, disable, fists of fury (leg-sweep->fists keeps them stun locked), - this leaves them at ~20-30% health (~40% if plate). I usually get Xuen on them if they are plate/mail or outgear me. Anyway, your insights are definitely cause for me to sit with this and consider my options. You inspire me!

4 Piece set bonus from PvP gear lets you use touch of death when a player is below 10% Health. Monks like DW because of the 40% auto attack dmg increase which is a huge passive dmg increase. You also get x2 enchants. It is more consistent damage also.

Another tactic I like to use in arenas, is to set up Transcendence behind a pillar or other form of LoS, then cast 3 healing orbs on top of it; so that I can quickly jump behind LoS and get a nice 80Kish heal (not including crit heals). Then u can pop energizing brew if its not on CD and then spam healing orbs under your feet. And nice 2v1 at the end - that was a pretty nice set-focus when under pressure =T.

I currently have a different talent spec (leg sweep, which I find quite helpful for focusing healers while stunning any melee who may be trying to peel me), but your vid gives me some great info to ponder. For even more healing you can use Storm, Earth and Fire on a target close by or even two and then use chi wave and then cast it again to remove your clones! But if ur are in a 2v2 arena then use it on your other target and might want it to stay there for some dps on the dps while on the healer.

you play the same way, I do. expect all those I use in one button. #showtooltip Chi Wave /castsequence reset=0.3 0,0, jab /castsequence reset=0.3 0, Expel Harm /castsequence reset=0.3 Chi Wave /cast Chi Brew /cast Energizing Brew this is basically my chi macro I made.. It favors more common healing spells such as chi brew, or energizing brew.. over those that just grant chi. some people would disagree on putting Energizing Brew in together I would agree. but I tend to spend a lot of a chi very fast on my kicks and need to gain more asap for good bursting. plus I use chi brew when ever I can since it stacks tiger eye fast and give me two chi every time I use it. chi wave I use on cd.. giving me dps and healing advantage, expel harm does the same and generates chi jab is my last resort for my chi since it uses energy as a resource but gives chi I do see situation where I wouldn't need Energizing Brew in that macro say the beginning of the fight if I have full energy. against dps. but in some cases I do if Im pushing pressure on a heal spamming my rising sun kick and blackout kick from behind.

lol I love when a rogue attacks me then they are like oh shit what did I get into. Then try and run from me. Man I am so conflicted on leveling my monk or mage to 90. They are both at 88. I am loving the Pyro bursts on my mage, but then there is the lock down and pressure of a monk. Great vids as always bro!!!

I switch between Healing Elixir's and DIffuse Magic. I use Healing Elixir's for melee teams and diffuse magic for caster teams.

what addon is that you're using for multiple targets I really want to be good at pvp on my monk. I'm having a ton of trouble and it seems like every class just stomps me... I feel pretty shitty when I can't seem to kill anyone. I've always been a pve raider but recently decided to join a pvp server and I literally can't kill anyone my level. So what if I can raid high end content... Nothing is more humiliating than getting just stomped by someone when you're doing dailies or whatever.

i noticed that the tooltip for healing elixirs has changed so that the passive effect occurs when below 35%, does this also apply to the brews and teas or do they still heal for any % of you health?

Armen Karapetyan When we started 3s our healer was a boosted 90 with 2 honour pieces and the rest all PvE greens, yet not only did he survive, he often topped heals (that includes the other team's healer). Being a good player goes a LONG way here
