MONK / RANGER Multiclass Build Guide: Baldur's Gate 3

Here is a powerful MONK RANGER Multiclass Build Guide in Baldur's Gate 3, This was a requested video and I wanted to put something together as both of these classes both use wisdom, dexterity and constitution so there is some synergy here we can use. What makes this multiclass so powerful is the fact that the dread ambusher has high nova damage that can benefit from the monks high damage output. While a Monk / Rogue is better, the gloomstalker does add some nice stuff to the open hand monk. The shadow monk fits better thematically but I think if you want to hit hard, open hand is the way to go.

Nice, one option is grabbing the Hunters Shortbow at the Druids Grove, it gives a free cast of Hunters Mark, it still requires concentration, but you can start flexing that damage lvl 2-3. An extra 2-12 damage on an early-game flurry isn't bad. I also tried Monk/Warlock for Hex + Darkness and used the eye to see foes in darkness.

just get the 19 strength stat stick from wizard tower and you can use the 18 dex gloves in order to max out other stats. you can even make this character charisma based to be the talking head for the party if you dont wanna main any other charisma classes.

Really shocked you didnt go the monk archer route with this AKA an archer that can throw hands. I woulda went monk 1 for martial arts then went ranger to 5 for gloom stalker and extra attack with a dex ASI, then went monk to 4 for way of shadow (for theme) and sharpshooter, then ranger to 8 taking a dex/wisdom asi. I like the idea of shooting with ensaring strike then running up and punching lol. Or jusr shooting and usinf flurry on anyone dumb enough to aproach you

The tavern brawler was a lot higher damage from my testing so that’s why I went this route but that could also work! I find that the level 9 open hand monk perks are too good to give up as it gives much needed AoE

Bro ask any time! This is the Drake general dye, it’s usually gold/red/black on armor and looks nice! I always drop a save before testing dyes hahaha

You can actually buy more in act 3! But yeah I recommend saving before using them!
