Monkey Island - Puerto Pollo at Night - Ambience (1hr)

Puerto Pollo always felt different at night. Up on the grassy knoll, with views of the moonlit bay, a pirate was free to reflect on their past and consider the future. Was this the right time to join the retirement community and finally get a membership at the Brimstone Beach Club? Or was it time to Return to Monkey Island...?
This is a 1 hour long custom animation and soundscape inspired by the atmosphere and intrigue of one of Monkey Island's most popular locations. A huge thanks to Jim Clark and The Guild of Ambience for all their work.

I remember playing this game as a kid it was in english and I couldn't understand anything at the time, however it was so entertaining, i just played it without really knowing what i was doing. Good times.

Interesting! The game must have done well outside the North American market because I do see quite a bit of traffic from The EU, largely Germany and quite a bit from South American countries like Brazil and Argentina. And I’m in Australia!

This is so far my favourite one. It really takes me back to those times I played Monkey Island. Gosh - it was my first ever computer game from memory. It captured my imagination when I still lived my life inside it. Thanks Moo

I love the story the art tells, same with the Blood Island one. Maybe after long hours of cutting hair Edward Van Helgen just comes up here to pick at the banjo and relax. I always thought about this type of stuff as a kid. Cutthroat Bill being on Blood Island, maybe he just decided to stay there. Idk I like the idea of them getting a continuation. I find it weird that these character only got this game. Only character from it besides the main cast was Murray. Edit: Also the Banjo version of Pirate I was meant to be is amazing!

Filmora pro was used to stitch it all together, but I'm not sure what program @JimClarkArt used to do the actual drawings! But I'll find out!

Any plans to use any of the music from Secret of Monkey Island as ambient music?? If so I'd respectfully request the Melee Island map music. Either that or The Journey,which you probably know which track I'm referring to but the one when you get the crew together and are sailing to Monkey Island. I used to load that part of the game and just stand on the deck listening to it
