We have always said that we will be honest with anybody watching, too many people get paid and sponsored by so many companies you never know what the truth is. Don’t get us wrong WA is absolutely brilliant, there has been a few things that have caught us out that we don’t agree with but this one was a tough pill to swallow 😂 Thanks for watching Gerry 👍

Great episode, thanks for your honesty, have heard Monkey Mia is overrated, such a shame and sounds like they could improve the experience. Anywho, questions for next week, what would be the number 1 misconception about travelling on the road? And if you could return to any place in Aus, where would that be?

Thanks guys, Monkey Mia could be brilliant but a lot of thought and work needs to go into it to justify the cost. Great questions !

Hey Scott, Average fuel usage for our trip fully loaded is around 29lph. The van weighs 3.4ish but can go to 3.5t 👍

@@chasinganadventureit don't matter your fuel use, that's why you got the rig to do the job, I get asked all the time about 200 series and I tell them ridiculous mileage, they walk off shaking their head, and the west is a rip off place, we were told it's mining price, nice, stay safe

Went to Monkey Mia in 1975 and parked the FJ45 with Villanova and the Fraser 5.2 on the beach. Went fishing, saw dugong, turtles. Cleaned the fish, had a bonfire, fed the dolphins whilst having a swim as the sun was going down There was only five other campers there. Do you think it has changed for the better ? Great video's guys.

Hi Stephen, The good ol times sound like a blast, they would have been the days. Unfortunately most of that can’t be done now, no camping unless in the caravan park and definitely no camping on the beach. Fish can only be cleaned at one spot in the caravan park and unfortunately no singing around the fire 😂 The caravan park is fantastic but to use the caravan park, restaurant or boat ramp you get charged a ridiculous fee. With the cost of living these days costs like this are ridiculous. Not much we can do about it though, we would have stayed in Denham if we knew about it before booking.
