I’ve gotta adore the foreshadowing in the moment where Shrike was goofing around with Beebs who had flower petals on his head to look like Dr. Agness and point a sword at him only for it to reveal that Puntiagudo was going to be the sword that defeated her. Wonderfully done!

i think this style of foreshadowing also hints at Shrike being the last of his species. Kara's file on him says his species is unknown, and when Puntiagudo was crying about his people being wiped out, Shrike mirrored his sadness when Sixty Two mentioned how tough it can be being the last of your species. Shrike was sad over the condition of the Bucket, but i think him simply crying DIRECTLY after that line is just a hint.

The character design for "Grandma" is honestly genius. I think you balanced the silliness and intimidation factor perfectly. Big fan of the blisteringly obvious visual metaphor, love how her vehicles felt like natural extensions of her personality and aesthetic. Voice actor knocked it out of the park, too. 10/10 baddie of the week.

Really well done overall, but one thing I really like is how unafraid the show is about Shrike's Latino coding. I've seen so many sci-fi stories where there don't seem to be any individual cultures in the future at all, just some vague connections or a mostly white-leaning power structure. It happens all the time, even in stories where everyone's human and there's not a good excuse for it. So it's really cool to see something different here - and none of these people are human so you didn't even really -need- to do it, and I'm all the more impressed for that.
