That last scene had a throwback to the old Jack Benny radio show. The guy in this video is saying take my hand or you'll die, and Monk says "I'm thinking." In the Jack Benny show, Jack, who was famous for being cheap and loving money above all else, was held up by a holdup man. The man says "You're money or your life." Then there is a long pause. The studio audience knew what a quandary that was for benny and laughed uproariously. After a bit, Jack answers with that classic line, "I'm thinking." The audience roared louder and for an incredible amount of time. In fact, that one laugh was so long, many people claim it was the longest in radio history, although Jack Benny disputed that.

Some of my favorite moments; Mr. Monk on Wheels, "Natalie chips" "Yes Monk you have all the chips, the whole bank" Mr Monk and the Miracle, "Natalie bums make gravy?" "Bums make their own gravy?" Mr Monk visits a Farm "Uh oh, its the reefers, Riverdance, whatever happens, don't give me that key" Mr. and the buried Treasure "Is it gravel?" "Yes Troy it's grave, GRAVEL everywhere" Mr. Monk keep it together" Mr. Monk goes to group therapy, "Ready?" 1, 2, 3 charge, Monk n Harold see the guy confessing to Dr. Bell "Huh?" Mr Monk Gets Cabin Fever "Did you hear that noise?" Captain "Huh?' ugh, falls off the top bunk, Monk untie my leg, next day "I heard screaming last night" Yeah Monk, that was me cause you tied my leg to the bed"There's many others top moments I really like, too many to keep track off, Mr Monk makes the Playoffs "Is that blood on the TV," It's from the evidence room" "Randy's right, this is better than being at the game" "Do you have Condor fever?' Monk "I do now, thanks bud"

lmao, get over yourself. Television (and arts/entertainment in general) has always been political. Look at The Twilight Zone, for instance - it was chock full of political messaging.
