This is one of my favorite solves with the fact Monk keeps starting over, him being sweet towards Stottlemeyer and all his remarks he makes while drunk.😂😂😂 It’s still super gross that they hid the body in the wine barrel.😖😖😖

But they were supposed to be on vacation and not having to solve a murder case. I think it was the one they stayed in the FBI cabin that she accused Monk of being bad luck. Then came around by the end and said he's good luck because he's there to solve the crimes.

It's actually dumber they decided to hide the body in the winery. If anything they should have done this. 1). Leave him in his car and pour alcohol on it, then let it drive off a cliff, dude was already dead, they could have pronounced it an drunk driving accident. 2). Have all of them say he left in a hurry, like he got spooked by something, they tried to stop him because he had too many. 3). Leave some of the money in the car but bash the case so it looks like most of it burnt or got lost in the accident. This way the fake detective gets thrown off the trail, Adrian gets thrown off and they keep the money. Simple.
