Fun facts: Erin Cahill and Keith Robinson who guest star in this episode are Power Rangers Alumni. Erin was from Time Force, and Keith was from Lightspeed. They also teamed up in Power Rangers during their annual team up in an episode called Time for Lightspeed

Natalie really made a strong case for why the critic was the killer but then they all ignored it. The cologne, the fact he was a regular at the victim's restaurant, and the fact he had the right (although also the most common) first initial. I understand why they thought she was biased but she still made a decent case for investigating him.

This episode proves that 1) Natalie is a great detective too and 2) You really shouldn’t say mean things, especially if they aren’t true.😉

If it wasn’t for Monk finding both the nicotine gum and the wristwatch, Natalie would’ve been ridiculed to hell as the only motive she had against the critic was giving her daughter a bad review.

This is a pretty long short, but at the end of it they don't even show the true evidence that can convict the killer...🤔 In the full episode the killer is in Julie's presence, yet he doesn't even recognize her ...🤔 He wrote a review about how terrible Julie's performance was, but doesn't even recognize her, so how is that even possible? "Here's what happened..."
@BillyButcher906 ай бұрын
Wasn't about getting evidence? It was about destroying his alibi. The elderly attendant would've woken up from his coma and testified against Hannigan.

The song that Julie was singing at the beginning...what is the name or is it a made up song?
@Levyathyn6 ай бұрын
It's a song called Away, by a man named Andy Breckman. He's one of the people who created the show and worked on it over the years, including producing some directing credits and handling some of the music, and I believe that is a song he created wholesale although I'm not sure if he wrote it for the show specifically or it was just one of his musical works before they used it in the episode.

I wonder what tangible evidence the prosecution presented to the jury in the court of law. While Monk makes it sound logical and a slam-dunk, the jury would consider it just a theory without evidence. I've never seen this episode. Did the critic confess in the end or did they actually get something on him to convince the jury?
