the first play was a misplay, you could have set up the top of your deck to flip delver.

Round 1 game 1 you could bluf f a double counterspell instead of playing the island, the deck is already super low in mana curve so bluffing is good

​@@naip3you should never play brainstorm during the endphase, its kinda of complicated subject but you can find lots of video on how to use brainstorm the best.

@@naip3 when he brainstormed he saw delver and that he could not get rid of the cards on top (by milling, surveiling or shuffling), so the cards he put back would be drawn anyway. He knew he would play delver next turn, so he could put an instant or sorcery (deep analysis) second from the top, draw the top card, play delver and be sure he would flip on the next turn.

​@@tostapane9092that is only really true in legacy though right? You main phase brainstorm in legacy to avoid Orcish Bowmasters. I agree he misplayed but that's because he didn't stack spells on top of his deck to flip the delver

Elves is a pretty miserable matchup for this deck, unlucky that you ran into it twice.
