I salute Obert Gomba. He revolutionalized Sungura drumming starting on Macheso's Vapupuri Pupurai. All along we had been accustomed kuti drum resungura ringori kicker nemahats, snare raingonzikwa mbijana pamarolls. But Gomba introduced snare pressing kuSungura, blending it nematoms zvikabva zvabuda so sweet. Ishasha iyi. Nhasi every drummer is taking a cue from him, that's what we call having an impact muMusic Industry.

Thank you for the great interview. On cover versions, you are 💯 per cent correct. I'm a great fan of Little Richard , Chuck Berry, and Plastic Bertrand I have seen numerous cover versions of most of their songs done by high profiled musicians.
