Honestly that sheltered by ghosts by your opponent at the end was pretty much a punt. You had two enchantments that would re-enter as creatures. They turned your removal into removal + reanimator for only 2 extra mana.

12:34 Crim had lethal without the opponent having to scoop, brotherhood's end kills the blocker but not the overlord, send damage to the face and that's 17. His line is safer though as if they have torch the tower or anything else then he gets blown out.
