One thing that I was incorrect about in our discussion of charming scoundrel last week (this is orsrpe by the way) is that I assumed that the discard and draw effect required the discard. Multiple times here you just got an extra card without anything in your hand which is incredibly more powerful than what I thought it was. Drawing one when your hand is empty is enormous in mono red and I was thinking it would just do nothing if your hand was empty. I was totally wrong as a result.

yeah kinda surprised me when he just got a free draw, kinda adds a lot of value to the scoundrel.
