That segment about sliding to the outside really changed my ideas about how to initiate this! Thank you!

Thanks for that. I was always trying to apply the edge to the front and not the side. I'll try this out, thanks so much

Thank you for the tutorials, I watch your slide videos every time before I go out for a skate and practice!

Great video! I also had some trouble with making my skate to slide and it felt a bit awkward. The banana shaped move helped me a lot to enter the slide which you showed in the previous video. It’s not perfect but I am getting there. Thank you! A parallel slide tutorial would be awesome. I’ve seen your videos where you carve into the slide so smoothly it’s jaw dropping.

Thank you Natan!! This movement of the knee to get more edge wasn’t clear to me , watching your previous videos about the soul slide!!!! I think this will help me a lot, being in the situation that sometimes the soul enters and sometimes no (scary situations 😅😅😅). Really appreciate!! 👏

I just started to be able to manage it on flat land. Must skate quite fast though. Great tutorial. Starting to hit the parallel now on the apex of my carves after figuring out the soul.

Thank you. Fantastic advice. The struggle (mostly mental, but also technical) on downhills continues for me, and I'll take this on board. I'm having a practise session tomorrow so will try to drill it then. Big thanks.

I think I have issues with lacking knee strength or flexibility on the supporting (rolling) leg - couldn't get low enough to initiate the slide. Straight onto magic slide perhaps 😅

Thanks for the tutorial, your explanations are always very well structured. Would you say it’s possible to practice slides on a flat surface? Or does it get too tiring when you always have to speed up again?
@natanlakonishok3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can practice on flat, especially the soul .

Thanks for the tips. Is there a minimal hardness of wheels to consider? I’m riding Matter f1.
@natanlakonishok3 жыл бұрын
Some softer wheels slide better than harder ones . It really depends ...

@@natanlakonishok ok, good to know, so more in the technique than the gear (as anticipated). Thanks!

Is it possible to not have enough flexibility in hip? I have pain and feeling that hip could immediately broken. Despite that my leg doesnt fall into slide and after a while "slidig" leg stays behinde
@natanlakonishok2 жыл бұрын
Normally we can achieve flexibility at any age , it might take a bit longer than when we were young .But that's ,not what should stop you ...
