I forget that network disruptor can tap down lands too, interrupting the opponents tempo in the process. It can force them to make awkward plays. Very useful card.

I love the zoetic glyph so much! such a fun card! Is there anyway I could splash red into the deck? I really like the core of it, but I also like animating the diamond pick axe for indestructible, and the lizard blades to swing with a 5/4 double strike turn 3.

trying this same deck out but made some changes that seem to work pretty well if your fine raising the budget a bit. replaced the fading hopes with march of swirling mist to possibly protect from a sweeper or clear the board for a big attack, replaced the bike with schooner for a bit of a stronger vehicle that can make your evasive creatures better/draw cards, and also added in mirrex to generate artifact creatures in case i run out of artifacts for the retrofitter and zoetic glyph

I absolutely LOVE Zoetic Glyph! I run a deck with cheap flying artifact creatures including Malcators Watcher (draw a card and discover 3 when it’s killed with glyph on it, highly recommend) finish with a pair of Twining Twins, a couple of Steel Seraphs and Michikos Reign of Truth 👍

Following your channel and your awesome decks for a while now... this one is amazing for someone like me; a cheapskate prefering budget decks with low manacosts overall. Commanders like Feather probably don't need a lot of rares (besides lands) since you can just play a bunch of pump spells. Not super interested in watering down decks where the card quality is important, just need to find one where it doesn't matter.

I've seen Rat Colony decks do pretty well, but the gameplay is quite repetitive.

thank you for this deck! I'm a relatively new player (started playing after a bit after WoE release), and until now I desperately tried to get expensive decks like Esper legends, Azorius control, Golgari mid, and playing with half-assed versions of them (half of the lands missing, etc) has been painful, while mono red is boring AF and mono blue is too vulnerable to Cavern of Souls. Playing felt like a nightmare tbh. This deck is so fresh and interesting, that even losing with it does not make me too angry (as it usually does). I also looked at some of your other videos, and the content is great, so keep it coming!

Maybe ledger shredder would be a good substitute for hacker. It doesn't have any artifact synergy, but it's pretty good in a low-curve aggro deck and is also budget friendly.

@@CSmania1991 It's a way to sneak in your creatures if you're already attacking with an unblocked creature. Most of them will have a nice effect when they hit the opponent, so the payoff is worth it if you can set it up.

@opposite342 That's fair. After playing the deck myself a bit, I can certainly see what he means. Hacker feels amazing when you have Siren (or any of your other 1 drops) T1 into Hacker, replay Siren T2. At any other point in the game, he feels super awkward. I will try to cut some of them but maybe that's too many vehicles, we'll see. Thanks for the suggestion 🙂

Why most good 4 rare-ish decks are almost always mono red or mono blue? If that curious obssession - UUU djinn abomination wasn't so good I wouldn't have played arena the long time I had. Unfortunately it is more stonks to make your game a realized skinner box so I quit arena for some time now :/.

Burn spells, bounce spells and counterspells are usually Common or Uncommon. Savannah Lions set the precedent for white aggro creatures to be bumped up to Rare, even if we are seeing a shift to uncommon for those types of cards in recent years, it still persists throughout Magic design. Green ramp cards are usually lower rarity, but the payoffs are always Rare or Mythic since they need to be powerful. Black gets good removal at lower rarities, but the winconditions still tend to be high power cards, since those removal spells lend themselves to midrange and control strategies. Those decks also tend to be multicolor, requiring rare lands. And as we all know rare lands sell Magic packs. TL;DR it's basically ingrained in Magic design, for better or worse.
