Monochrome: How weaning off my addiction to color made me a better painter

📌I am a color collector - I have such a bad habit of buying just 1 more tube of paint in whatever color I love especially in the early days of painting.
I own so many convenience tubes of paint (evidence in this video where I swatch 94 of my paint tubes - • How I swatch my waterc... )
My practice of painting in monochrome really propelled the way I painted by a huge leap - because I was forced into simplifying shapes and seeing shadow instead of petals and details. It was a change in the way I painted.
