Yes, this kit is an old one, I was told once that it was a "Collectors Item" , I wanted to build it to honor my father who was a waist gunner on one. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

Turned out awesome my friend! All of the guns are still there! A lot better than I did! Only guns that I didn't break were the 2 nose guns! That bomb section looks great! They will love it and will look great on display at the museum! 👍🙂

Thank you my friend. I didn't put the PE sights on the f4 front guns, I thought it would make that front end really busy. I am surprised that I only broke the antennae mast. The museum is only open weekends, so I have to wait to get it to them. I appreciate your support and kind words, they have motivated me to get this one done. You really rock as a friend and a modeler. Thanks again.

Looks great!!! I built this same kit several years ago when a friend of mine gave it to me because he was dealing with some serious health issues and asked me to build it for him. I was almost finished building it when he passed away. About the only thing I did different on the kit I built was the paint scheme and I scratch built a ball turret and added it along with a bunch of extra brass detail parts which you really can't see them unless you look inside the model.

I would like to see yours. If you check out my playlist on this you will see the extra detail I did on this. I built it to honor my father who passed 20 years ago. It is never too late to honor someone.
