They just showed Luke Perry hosting SNL from 1993 on t.v. tonight out of respect. Man 1993. Seems like such an innocent time now. Luke Perry and Jason Priestly were the big things/teen hearthrobs. Kurt Cobain was still alive...grunge and britpop were just starting. No social media/internet. Grade school classes still played Oregon trail. This was a high point for our culture in the US and England in terms of music and entertainment and just general political balance and a feeling of stability. As well as a strong economy. The movies to come out in the next few years were Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Braveheart and Heat to name just a few. Damn how things have fallen.

I was entering junior high school in 1990. A different world back then. Good shows on TV. Nintendo and Blockbuster Video were doing great back then. The bad things were the Gulf War and the Patriots sucked.

Super Nintendo and Sega genesis were in their prime and street fighter 2 was an amazing video game. and the cowboys were about to dominate Super Bowls! and I haven't even gotten to the domination of the entire NBA by Jordan and the bulls! the 90s was an awesome time
