Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours 24th May 2015

Filmed on a day with sunny intervals, this video features red and cream-liveried Boat tram no. 227, Box tram no. 40, red and white-liveried 'Balloon' no. 701, Standard tram no. 147, Bolton tram no. 66 and Brush railcoach no. 631. Filmed at Rossall, Fleetwood Ferry, Gynn Square, Pleasure Beach, several locations between Pleasure Beach and North Pier, and at North Pier. This video also includes footage includes a ride on the top deck of no. 701 as well as shots of the trams from the lineside and from North Pier itself.

***** Hi Phil. It was a good day. Of the 6 trams we saw, there were 4 different ones to last time we were there at the early May Bank Holiday . The big bonus was seeing the red boat 227 which has alluded us up to now. regards Joseph

Really enjoyed your film.nice shots of 227 at Gynn Square. It was my first ride on 227 and I had just got off to film it at the Ferry which I have included in my video recently posted. Didn't notice the cold too much but travelled downstairs on 706.

i like those classic blackpool trams i dont like the news ones they dont remind me of the blackpool i used to go to every week just to ride on these trams

They've got quite a few now in running order and have got more running days throughout the year. If it wasn't for the old trams I don't think we would go to Blackpool. regards Joseph
