Although the Radiation Pattern derivation from Current distribution was going above my head, I'm very satisfied with the results. Now I can focus on the integration part. Once again Thankyou Sir.

@27:55 How the reactive part of input impedance is tuned out by shortening the length of dipole?
@paulamiroy9534 жыл бұрын
The displacement current or radiation from the arms of dipole cause parasitic capacitance. Longer the arms, more will be the parasitic capacitance which affects as reactive component. Hence by shortening the length of the arms by little bit, the reactive part can be tuned.

He claims the monopole antenna is popularly seen as a tower at radio stations. I wish he showed a photo of a real tower and explained the diff parts

We professional broadcasters call them , self radiating MW mast antennae supported by d stay or guy wires..!!
@rgudduu4 жыл бұрын
@@anirbanOprasenjit , thank for those pointers "medium wave antenna", "mast antenna", "d stay", "guy wire" I see for example en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mast_radiator The guy wire, is itself a conductor, so should behave like an antenna and interfere in the reception which we want from the main central conductor only.
