Monopoly is my personal favorite board game because although I was born in NY, both my parents are from NJ, and I lived in the state for a bit. I visited Atlantic City in 2012 and got to see the streets mentioned on the board. The values on the board reflect the actual real estate property values of the 1930s Atlantic City area, the reason Baltic and Mediterranean are so cheap is because they were in a low-income neighborhood (nowadays, 40 percent of the whole city faces poverty). While Pennsylvania Ave, Park Place, and Ventnor Ave were in wealthier neighborhoods. St. Charles Place no longer exists as it became the Showboat!
