I just found you and binge-watched some of your videos, including this one. I enjoyed them all and appreciate your tutorials using inexpensive materials for mixed media. You are easy to listen to, keep your videos short, and your explanations and instructions are direct and simple. I read all the comments here and just want to say scroll past the negative ones...they aren't worth the effort. I hope you continue with your channel as I am a new subscriber now...and fellow Canadian...who enjoys your video productions. Thank you!

You should invest in a gel plate for your monoprinting. It's soooo much better than a piece of plastic. 😎

I bought a silicone cookie sheet liner. Works great for this and a pallet.

instead of wiping it clean, wait til the paint is dry and apply white to the back and it will pull the black off on tip of the white

Great idea thank you. I am just getting into this :) Love the idea of not buying a geli plate and using what I have 😀

Keep stealing techniques. Why are you copycatting all?!

Hi! Yes I am, the monotype print techniques have been around for hundreds of years and explored by many of the great Artists including Edgar Degas a hundred years ago. If you read some of the comments on this video you'll see many different ways to produce one. I use a plastic sheet in my art classes because it's cheaper then purchasing a gelli plate for each student.

@@TheStainedCanvasArt go away. I see materials and techniques and all of that came from someone else you better repent. Disgusting lies.
