The early monorail horns were much more pleasant sounding. The monorail could be right over your head and the horns would make you smile, not jump out of your skin.

That pretty much is. The horn, a Grover 1056 is the combined version of the 1054 & 1055, which were used on lots of old Kenworths

Nope. Same ones they’ve had since the Mark IV. The grower 1054, 1055, and 1056 models. The latter is just a dual model of the former two.
