Come join me on the Surfers Paradise Monorail! it now been demolished but at least we have some amazing footage of this amazing piece of transportation history
Most of the footage has been sped up in editing, if it wasn't, this video with all the individual footage put together would have likely ended up as a 45 minute video

man, I'm old enough to have ridden one of these in Singapore. Now I appreciate how much the train interior was hogged by the wheel wells, and how slow boarding/alighting is at each station

Monorails are so much Better then Light Rail as you can build them anywhere and don't follow road rules or make up more congestion in Traffic Also in the long run they are more cost efficient then Light Rail. Look up the KZbin Video Why not Monorail to find out more info

as we can clearly see in this video and as mentioned the Monorail passes though a shopping centre they got rid of the Cable cars at Seaworld Australia is the Monorail next?

@@NSWSteamFan Fair point, But can you see what I'm saying. you can build a monorail station anywhere, The are quiet elevated and offer a better scenic imagine then Trams and cars

It’s been operating since way back in the 1980’s and the price of a ride has only risen to $4. Pretty amazing if you ask me, mentality like your comment kills these attractions. I know it’s your opinion, and it counts but I really don’t see $4 a big ask to use the only monorail used for public transport in Australia. RIP 🚝
