Our last trip to Monsieur Paul was in May 2019. Comment on that video if you watched both reviews. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6qwgXaVgdJ-aaM

With that price for the vegan option I think it’s a great deal, but if it does go to 200 I think they need to serve more food

Absolutely agree!

That's great they adjusted the vegan price; pureed cauliflower isn't much of an entrée! The soup sounds delish. Pear liquor poured on the sorbet kinda like Le Creperie Grand Marn🤣 🇫🇷🥂

Everything was amazing but yeah, we're glad we ended up spending less than intended. We went in thinking we're getting salad and a veggie plate so this far exceeded our expectations.

Fun French fact: Amuse-bouche in french means mouth amuser. Lol! And I've been to Chefs de France, too, and, I agree, I love their baguettes.

So glad they were able to come through with a decent vegan meal despite no obvious options on the menu!

We were stressing pretty badly. Lots of calls and emails before we went with no information. Definitely gave us peace of mind.

Perfect pronunciation. Looks a better vegan meal than I can get in France. I have to travel with a suitcase of food when I visit my mum and beau-pére. When are you guys going to get to Europe? I want to see some DLP vlogs, and the exchange rate is good for you to come to the UK now

We were supposed to go to TDR in 2020 and then DLP around this year or next. But, we never got to TDR and have been slacking on passport renewal since the pandi. It's definitely on the list to do but not as soon as we originally planned. We did the cruise this year instead.

Thank you so much for this. Been looking to see a video from the reopening. We were scheduled to go right before Covid, but 2 1/2 years later we have reservations to go the second week of November. We also have Bull & Bear the same week so that we can compare (we know we love it but have to refresh the memory 😂) Right now I agree that Citricos is a definite favorite. We did Victoria and Alberts in September and, unpopular opinion, not a fan. Looking forward to MP is just to check it off the bucket list. Thanks again for the review.

We haven't been to Bull & Bear since it reopened but we loved it there too. We enjoyed our 2018 experience of V&A's more than we did 2022 so we're with you on the unpopular opinion. Citricos is always amazing. Next we're just waiting on Takumi Tei.

Saw both your reviews on Takumi-Tei & Monsieur Paul. Between the two restaurants, which would you pick? (meat eaters) Planning a trip here soon.

Always Takumi-Tei. Better experience and more food, unless you really want French food.

This small portion of a baguette is called "un michon"! ;-) Yours trully was part of the opening crew when it was named "Bistro de Paris" on June 3, 1984 ... 38 years ago! Fancier - foodwise - than the Chefs de France Brasserie down below ... but certainely not as swanky - and expensive! - as this Monsieur Paul place ... which is an oddity for a restaurant INSIDE a Disney Theme Park!

How’d you arrange a vegan meal? I had ruled this out already based on the online menu.
@PrincessandtheBear2 жыл бұрын
We said we had a vegan at check in at confirmed with the server when we sat down. We tried to contact special diets ahead of time, but Monsieur Paul is third party so special diets cannot assist. Thankfully vegan options were available without any additional notice or preparations from the chef. The vegan options were a large portion of our pre-reservation anxiety.

Thanks. Good to know it’s an option to go.

So while he had lamb and a cheese plate, Princess got nothing?
@PrincessandtheBear2 жыл бұрын
While he had the lamb, I had the cauliflower. They didn't have anything for me during the cheese plate except offering more bread so yes, during that portion, I was watching him but I also had wine to finish so I was good. 👸

I would go for the vegan option for 65 bucks...200 bucks...NO. I would rather eat downstairs for the price fixed meal.
@PrincessandtheBear2 жыл бұрын
Downstairs is the better value, especially when it comes to bottles of wine.

SORRY .... one does NOT SLURP soup in a fancy restaurant ... not even for a test! (One swallows air in the process which is bad for our stomach! Just saying! 😁

This may have been the worst YT clip I’ve ever seen. Dull content. Desperate need for an editor. If dinner lasted 3 hours this video felt like 6.

Appreciate the feedback. We'll work on those points. If you have any specific moments or notes you'd like to call out that were particularly dull, we'll be happy to take as much feedback as possible to help improve our channel.
