CIAOOO! We were so excited to greet you WHEN YOU WERE HEADING TOWARDS Takumi Tei !! Meeting you two was one of the highlights of our USA adventure! Yes, we are your Italian followers, recently arrived back home from our trip to WDW and Universal !! We haven’t chosen a restaurant without watching your reviews, you have been a precious company while we were dreaming about our trip ! Thank you for always giving us your splendid advice ! We had no time to visit Takumi Tei during THIS trip - but we surely will try it on our next one!

Well, she’s three sheets to the wind entering the place. Slurring, calling yuzu “uzu” and struggling with those chopsticks, despite being familiar with this cuisine. He is much more articulate in the food analysis. Btw, the seaweed strings under the ikura (fish roe) is mozuku, famous from Okinawa. The leaf beneath the squid is shiso. Do come to Japan, where you’ll get that whole meal for less than $20, especially with the exchange rate.

We'll keep that in mind when we do make it over to Japan

Made w/ gin is a London Mule. Glad you enjoyed yourselves! Tbh the Yasai udon at Katsura Grill looks better than the soba! 🇯🇵

Shoosoo jelly? That again is shiso (“sheeso”) the same as the leaf your dining partner had with the sashimi course

Can’t believe you guys got in here before I even heard it was open! Looks absolutely amazing. I can’t believe they have a vegan menu now - so exciting!!

Disney did not announce the opening day, probably because it's owned by Mitsukoshi. As soon as we heard there was a vegan menu, I forced Bear to leave work early to wait. It was so worth it. I think he enjoyed it more than I did. 👸

This is amazing. I do like seaweed, but I have taught marine botany for many years. I prefer coffee. This may be necessary.

Thank you for always being there to provide your experience to others. Most informative and helpful. The beverages looked wonderful as well. I am assuming they were not included in the cost correct? It looks like it was a fantastic meal. I appreciate your review!

You are so welcome! Thank you for watching! Yes, the drinks were not included. The only drink that was included in the meal was the green tea that went with dessert.

We are visiting WDW in a couple of Botha, both of us are vegan and it’s hard to know where to spend our money and where not to waste it. Thanks for this video 🙏

We're happy to help! If there are any additional restaurants you're looking at to plan your trip, it's likely we have a review of it. We're happy to help because we know exactly how that feels.

@@PrincessandtheBear thank you, that’s kind! We’re currently working our way through most of your videos 😆most my my work is in the beauty/fashion sector but if I lived near Disney there’s no question what my focus would be! You’re doing a great job! We will be staying for 17 nights so we’ll have plenty of time to try a few places. What was your opinion on Tiffins? We’re thinking of hitting that spot as we live Nomads lounge 💞
@PrincessandtheBear Жыл бұрын
@@SearchForSilverLinings Tiffins is amazing! We love the octopus, the Impossible bunny chow, bread service, plant-based tacos, butter chicken, whole sustainable fried fish, cauliflower side, and tropical trifle. We have 3 Tiffins reviews going over all of these items on our channel. ❤️

@@psionyxv2210 THe original one was $130 but you could also order a la carte. Now it's just the flat $250 or $150 if you're plant based.

One additional question, what time do you suggest to stand in the line as we absolutely do not want to miss this!!! Thank you.
@PrincessandtheBear2 жыл бұрын
They open at 5pm. We got to the podium somewhere around 4:30pm-4:45pm and there was a line. We were either third or fourth in line and still had to wait an hour for our table. That was fine for us but if you're aiming to be the first table, you'd probably want to be at the podium around 4pm.
