ang dapat i amend yung provisions on Political Dynasty, increase the QUALIFICATIONS of Elected officials for President, Vice President and Congress, MORE RESTRICTIONS for Elected officials to engage in businesses directly or indirectly. Yan dapat gawin nila.

Last year, it was the Maharlika Fund and this year, it's Cha-Cha. The big difference is that this will cost billions, money that should be wisely spent on initiatives or projects that can bring down the price of basic commodities such as rice. For the common Juan Dela Cruz like me, the proposed Cha-Cha changes related to Advertisement, Education, and Public Utilities may provide major employment opportunities but to give the impression that this is the main reason why our economy is what it is now is really a stretch of imagination. Having said that, if really the push becomes a shove and the Cha-Cha changes is successful put to a vote via the plebiscite, then can we add another question for us to vote on besides the Cha-Cha changes and that is 'Should we abolished the present Congress for not doing their duty and call for new elections to replace all of them?' That will really end up as a real game changer for all of them.

Democracy fails to deliver the economic goods. We need someone na makakaupo ng mahaba para maayos ang bansa. Gaya ng sa Singapore where Lee Kuan Yew running the country for 30 yrs and Park Chung Hee who was able to industrialize South Korea bec. he was able to remain in power for long time enough.

@@kcpalaw8272 I'm entitled to my opinion based on facts where foreign equity ownership laws in the Philippines are far more rigid than Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, and it doesn't mean that being herself with a PhD in economics has the monopoly of knowledge when it comes to Philippine macroeconomics because when she was the NEDA Chairperson during Cory Aquino's presidency, she underperformed that she was fired by Cory and replaced by Jesus Estanislao.

Instead of devoting our land and resources to the genuine development of domestic agriculture, economy, and industries, ChaCha will allow more foreign-owned extractive industries, logging, ecotourism, real estate projects, expansion of agro-corporation plantations, and other business operations intended for profit-making. Lilikha ng sandamukal na high paying jobs, makakacollect ng sandamukal na corporate taxes, local ang barangay taxes. Wala naman husay si monsod kapag pinakinggan mo mabuti.
